¿Donde esta mi pasaporte?

2011 has just arrived, yet it is nearly packed with anniversaries, graduations, showers, and weddings (MINE) already, my crazy overbooked calendar is quite amazing. On top of the many celebrations, I have a set of mighty goals in play. Learning to decorate, cook, and lose a few lbs, is no easy feat. It is extremely challenging not only for me, but I think for any potential bride. My heart is bouncing like a tennis ball just thinking of it all. Despite 2011 commencing as the most superlative year yet, I am precociously preparing plans for 2012, the supposed end of humanity. But, sadly not in the means of stalking up on emergency food, water, extra bottles of Meadowcroft's Cabernet Sauvignon, etc. I am preparing again for another abroad adventure. It has been nearly eight months since I was living in Europe.  My mind, body, and soul is getting itchy and anxious again for another adventure on the other side of the world. Thoughts of riding elephants, trekking through tropical islands, perusing ancient palaces, and exploring loud colorful markets dance about in my mind. Unfortunately, this one will be more to the likes of a vacation versus a full immersion. The way I am drawn to adventure and constantly being on the go I should have joined a traveling circus years ago. It is quite possible I was in one in a past life. Maybe I was the woman with the crazy hair who danced with wild gorillas or the sleek young girl who performed acrobatics from an elephant. Either way you look at it, this girl is growing restless. She knows the extraordinary adventures this world holds. It's only a matter of time before she rides on again in the sunset, passport in hand.
