PDA: To Kiss in Public or Not to Kiss, That is the Question

The buses, trains, subways, parks, sidewalk benches, Starbucks, and all other possible cafés you witness it. They are smashed against the wall, cramped in a corner, or even leaning against a light post, it is everywhere! ¨Public Displays of Affection¨is all the rage in Madrid. I don't know if these people are just naturally affectionate, starved for attention, or are ecstasy whores. Whichever the case may be, these individuals love the world to see their ¨business¨or I should say ¨taking care of business.

I think R. Kelly said it best with, "I don't see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind." I am no stickler when it comes to having a little fun and I think it's important for ¨of age¨ individuals to have a healthy sex life. Nevertheless, I think maybe R.Kelly was maybe meaning to have some fun in the jeep, against the wall at home, or some other semi-private area. It generally makes me happy when I see others are happy, but seeing another girl trying to suck venom out of her boytoy's neck on the bus makes me vomit a little in my mouth.

Maybe I will get used to it, maybe not. In the meantime, I think I will continue to carry my tissues to wipe the look of disgust on my face and the vomit accruing behind my forced smile.
